Reports have come in that they he has recently been arrested by the Egyptian Army and are being detained.
Over the last two weeks, it is people like him who have devoted themselves to providing all of us with the "on the ground" news and reporting out of Egypt. Not an easy task given the attitude displayed against journalists recently by the Mubarak regime.
Sherine Tadros (her blog), another Al Jazeera English correspondent had also been detained by the Egyptian Army but thankfully, she has been released.
